Location & Premises

From its foundation in 1954, the Faculty was situated in the very heart of the city in a building just off the Liberty Square. The old Faculty building is captured in the black-and-white photograph on the right. In 1979, the Faculty was moved to the University campus and its current location at number 2 Dr Zoran Đinđić Street.
The building covers the area of 12,892.71 sq metres which include 45 classrooms (including language laboratories) with a total floor space of 3,884.93 sq metres, two computer labs, libraries (one central library with three reading rooms and 17 departmental libraries – each has its own reading room), offices, a bookshop, a restaurant etc. Apart from two computer labs, several more classrooms have equipment for presentations – overhead projectors and speakers. Other equipment includes printers, scanners, photocopiers etc. Each departmental library is equipped with computers which are all linked to the local network and the access to the internet is free.
