Obeležavanje Nedelje italijanskog jezika u svetu – predavanje pisca Nikole Savića

This year, for the fourteenth edition of the Week of the Italian Language in the World, the theme chosen - in connection with the Italian Presidency of the European Union - is "Writing the new Europe: Italian publishers, authors and readers in the digital age".

On that occasion, the Italian Institute of Culture in Belgrade and Faculty of Philosophy, University of Novi Sad organize a lecture by the Italian writer of Serbian origin, Nicola Savić. The lecture takes place on Tuesday, October 21 at 12 in the room 30/1 at the Faculty.

Nikola Savić is an Italian writer of Serbian origin, he moved to Italy when he was 12 years old and he is bilingual. Graduated in Communication Sciences at the University of Bologna, he lives and works in the province of Venice. He has recently won 'Masterpiece' the first talent show dedicated to Italian literature. His novel Vita migliore (A Better Life) has been published by Bompiani (100.000 copies).

Vita migliore is narrated in the first person and tells the story of a teenager, Deki, struggling with life and love. A bildungsroman that leads to the discovery of landscapes, stories and characters from the 80s in Belgrade and Venice.
After the lecture, the audience will have a chance to talk to the author.
