The Present of Onomastics: Innovations and Traditions,
Vilnius, Lithuania, 20-21 November 2014

On 20–21 November 2014 the Department of Onomastics of the Institute of the Lithuanian Language cordially invites to participate in the international scientific conference The Present of Onomastics: Innovations and Traditions dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the birth of the most famous Lithuanian onomast Prof. Dr. habil. Aleksandras Vanagas.

Venue of the conference: Institute of the Lithuanian Language (P. Vileišio g. 5, Vilnius, Lithuania).
Working languages of the conference: Lithuanian, Latvian, English, Russian, German.
Please send your application form with an abstract of your report (up to 2000 characters) until 1 June 2014 by e-mail vanago.konferencija@gmail.com.

We will inform you on selection results until 1 July 2014.
The programme of the conference will be announced on 31 October 2014.

Conference fee:
LTL 70 (20 EUR) if paid by a bank transfer until 1 October.
LTL 105 (30 € EUR) if paid at the time of registration.

Articles written on the basis of reports, which are in conformity to applicable requirements and receive a positive feedback from reviewers, will be published in the serial scientific journal Acta Linguistica Lithuanica after the conference.
