11th annual session of the New York - St. Petersburg Institute for Linguistics,
Cognition and Culture (NYI XI), St. Petersburg, Russia

Dear friend of generative linguistics,

We are delighted to announce the 11th annual session of the New York - St. Petersburg Institute for Linguistics, Cognition and Culture (NYI XI), to be held this summer at St. Petersburg State University in St. Petersburg, Russia. The dates are July 15-August 2, 2013 http://www..nyi.spb.ru. The focus of the LInguistics program this year is Formal Syntax and Semantics.

The program is open to advanced undergraduate students and graduate students. NYI's lineup of faculty for summer 2013 include:

All seminars are in English; Russian language knowledge is required.

Applications must be submitted through the NYI website http://www.nyi.spb.ru/application. Early applicants receive a discount for the school (early application review begins April 10, 2013). The application deadline is May 15, 2013 (if space remains).
