express our invitation to you to attend the Italy-Slovenia Cross-border
eCollaboration Workshop. The workshop is co-sponsored by the
Inter-Municipality Initiative Cross-border eCollaboration in the Danube
eRegion; the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia, Regional
Chamber Ljubljana; the Italian Trade Promotion Agency Office in
Ljubljana. The workshop will be taking place in the Chamber of Commerce
and Industry of Slovenia in Ljubljana on Wednesday, April 17, 2013,
10:00 – 17:00.
The participants will be looking for innovative ways of using
information technology, Internet in a broader sense, to support existing
business, or to create new business with the customers and/or suppliers
in the countries across the border. Prototypes of new ways of doing
cross-border eBusiness will be presented and discussed in the workshop.
Several Cross-border eSolution/eService Development Prototype Proposal
are published already at

Healthcare related institutions have proposed the following prototypes:
Proposer: Valdoltra Orthopedic Hospital: Regional arthroplasty register.
Proposer: Ineor d.o.o. Ljubljana: Real time insight into free
healthcare capacity of cross-border hospitals in a case of epidemic
disease outbreak or a major disaster.
Proposer: University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Medicine, Institute of
Biostatistics and Medical Informatics: Cross-border ePrescription,
Cross-border e-Discharge Letter, Information system for expert help with
the research proposals involving live organisms.
Proposer: Geodetic Institute of Slovenia: eCollaboration against
rheumatic diseases, Geospatial health indicators for health care management.
Proposer: Pension and Disability Insurance Institute of Slovenia:
Cross-border identity correlation in the Danube region.
Proposed are 3 cross-border eInvoicing prototype submitted by:
University of Modena in cooperation with the San Paolo Bank: eInvoice
accelerator.
evolaris next level GmbH Graz in cooperation with Raiffeisen Bank:
Regional Cross-Border Exchange of eInvoices in Healthcare.
University of Zagreb, Faculty of Informatics Varaždin in cooperation
with the Banking Association of Croatia: Electronic Invoice – regional
cross border exchange.
Proposer: Development Agency Sora, Škofja Loka: From the Source of Sava
River along the Danube, all the Way to the Black Sea - the Network of
Handicraft Centres.
A prototype proposer with her/his group members will be collecting ideas
on possible prototype improvements, as well as searching for additional
partners in the neighboring countries. The intention of a prototype is
to help the group to prepare for a joint pilot development or/and to
eventually respond to an EU call for projects. It would be our pleasure
to receive prototype proposals from the organisations in your area too.

a form for a prototype proposal submission to be emailed to Gricar@FOV.Uni-Mb.si by April 3 at the latest. It is desired to have
two, or three countries involved in the initial prototype proposal.
There are no costs involved with the workshop. A participant covers
her/his travel costs. Lunch will be served in the Chamber's restaurant
at the participants expense. After the workshop, the updated prototypes
proposals and the list of the participants will be published.

conference, the prototypes at a higher level of readiness for a pilot
and new prototype proposals will be discussed in the thematic section
panels.
