THE STUDENT UNION OF THE FACULTY OF PHILOSOPHY
UNIVERSITY OF NOVI SAD

            The Student Union of the Faculty of Philosophy (SUFF) in Novi Sad is student organisation whose goal is to represent students' rights and improve the standards of students' lives. This organisation also supports art in all of its forms and organises various events, gatherings and road trips.

            The Student Union is an independent and non-profit organisation, founded in 2000, and since its very start, it is focused on students and their problems. It seeks to establish international connections and with this idea in mind, it organised conferences with participants from European countries and countries from the region, while the Union's members have participated in international student gatherings.

            The Union believes that students should not deal exclusively with their studies, but they should all have a consciousness about social context and social issues, and deal with these issues. In a society where prejudice and discrimination are still dominant, the Union advocates a free, open and democratic society, favouring the rights and freedoms of the individual.

SUFF is a member of the Student Union of Serbia and the European Student Union.
