THE STUDENT ALLIANCE AT THE FACULTY OF PHILOSOPHY

            The Student Alliance at the Faculty of Philosophy is the oldest and largest student organisation at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Novi Sad, and as such, it has been acting on behalf of its students for more than two decades.

            In the course of its existence, the Alliance has organised many actions, seminars, round tables and literary evenings, parties on different occasions and various other events, from freshmen receptions to humanitarian actions.

            In cooperation with the Faculty of Philosophy, for many years the Student alliance has been taking students to gatherings of the faculties of philosophy from the region, where students have the opportunity to make friends, exchange experiences and educational materials and participate in a rich competitive programme of the Philosophy Students’ Festival - football, basketball, chess, table tennis, debate and quiz. The Student Alliance and the Faculty of Philosophy have been organising trips to the Belgrade Book Fair for years.

            Other sports clubs are also active within the Student Alliance every year. Of course, the work of the clubs would not be possible without the enthusiastic support of the Faculty of Philosophy. Thanks to the cooperation with the Faculty, in the previous years, the Alliance participated in the University League, and hopefully from 2015, it will also participate in the University Cup. Besides the sports club, the drama and debate clubs are also active. If you wish to participate in the work of some of the clubs, you can direct all questions to Alliance representatives in room P12 at the Faculty.

This year's activities of the Student Alliance of the Faculty of Philosophy:

• Two humanitarian actions, a blood drive
• Trip to the student gathering of the philosophy faculties from the region, the traditional Philosophy Students' Festival
• Humanitarian action of gathering aid for those affected by the floods
• Help with the application process and enrolment of new students
• The traditional action My Happy Pen
• Help with the reception of new students
• Trips to the Book Fair in Belgrade
• Organising the work of the sports club, the drama and debate clubs
• Humanitarian action Sweets for Smiles

            Besides all of our activities, we are not losing sight of our primary goal - to cooperate with the Student Parliament of the Faculty of Philosophy in solving the problems regarding all aspects of student life and student organisation.
