5 th INTERNATIONAL SUMMER SCHOOL – CALL FOR APPLICANTS

University of Maribor, Faculty of Arts is organising 5 th International Summer School in British and American language, literature and culture, which will take place in Maribor, Slovenia from June 28 to July 12, 2009. This year, the theme of the summer school is Language, Literature and Culture in Films. More information on the summer school programme can be found on the website http://student.ff.uni-mb.si/summerschool and in the attached brochure.

All students interested in the theme are kindly invited to send an application to the e-mail address: ff at uni-mb.si

The application should include:
◦ a short CV with information on the studies
◦ a motivation letter.

Deadline for application is May 25 th 2009.

The participation fee is 300 € and includes lectures, workshops, accommodation and weekend excursion.

The maximum number of participating students is 50.

In case of more than 50 applications, the following selection criteria will be used:
◦ seniority of students
◦ field of studies
◦ number of applicants from same institution
◦ priority of students from DRC members.

The accepted candidates will be informed by 1 st June 2009 and will receive further information regarding participation.
